Oracle ADF Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for an experiencedOracle ADF Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle ADF modernization, Java upgrades, WebLogic middleware, enterprise integrations, and application support.

Top 5 Must-Have Skills

1. Oracle ADF Upgrade Experience

   • Hands-on experience upgradingOracle ADF 12c to ADF 14c.

   • Experience with ADF Faces, ADF BC, task flows, bindings, and WebLogic deployments.

   • Experience withWebLogic 14.1.2.x.

2. Java Modernization Expertise

   • Proven experience upgradingJDK 8 to Java 21.

   • Experience remediating deprecated APIs.

   • Strong understanding ofjavax to jakarta migration, JAXB/JTA changes, and enterprise Java modernization.

   • Experience withJava 21/GraalVM.

3. WebLogic & Middleware Migration

   • Strong experience withWebLogic 12c/14c administration and deployment troubleshooting.

   • Experience with JVM tuning, includingG1GC/ZGC.

   • Knowledge ofSSL/TLS 1.3 compatibility.

   • Web services andOCI-based deployments experience.

4. Integration & API Upgrade Experience

   • Experience upgrading and validatingREST/SOAP integrations.

   • Experience withJersey 1.x/2.x to 3.x migration.

   • Experience withSFTP/SSH integrations, Quartz Scheduler, MyBatis, and enterprise middleware components.

5. Enterprise Application Support & Testing

   • Strong regression testing and performance benchmarking experience.

   • Production support and UAT bug-fixing experience.

   • Experience supporting mission-criticalHR or financial applications.

   • Comfortable working in hybrid enterprise environments.

   • Jersey 1.x/2.x → 3.x migration.

   • SFTP/SSH integrations.

   • Quartz Scheduler.

   • MyBatis.

5. Testing & Support

   • Regression testing.

   • Performance benchmarking.

   • Production support.

   • UAT bug fixing.

   • HR or financial application experience.
