POOL AND BEACHSERVER 

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is lookingfor aPool and BeachServerwho shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.OurPool and BeachServershave the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorizationrequired. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Proactively greetguests,drop off a QR code/menu,introduceyourself and inform them that you will be taking care of them for the day.Afterintroduction, use guest name during interaction. 

  • Accurately describe your pool’s hours ofservice, offerings, and specials of the day. 

  • Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin,taste and preparation methods; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen/ bar using the resortsMicros. 

  • Coordinate food & beverage timings and deliver items within the proper timing standards.  

  • Ensure proper quality of orders by checking on previously delivered items 

  • Anticipate guest needs and offer suggestions that will enhance their experience. Respond to guest requests and concerns urgently and appropriately.  

  • Manage designatedsection and continuouslychecking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.   

  • Detail your area daily to ensure your space is clean andorganized as well asensuringthe area is fully stocked with necessaryinventory. 

  • Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks and complimentary meals. 

  • Complete closing paperwork and accurately tip out theappropriate food runner and bar staff.  

  • Ensure every interaction is a Forbes 5 Star experience.Learn andmaintain our Pool and Beach 38 Forbes standards.  

  • Successfullyworkingas a team to ensure guest experience is apriority.   

  • You will be working in an active outdoor environment, soyou must be able to stand forlong periods of time.  

 

WHAT TO BRING 

  • Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience isrequired. 

  • Successful candidate mustpossess legal work authorization in United States 

  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage 

  • Weekend & Holiday availabilityrequired
