FINANCE & COMPLIANCE MANAGER – RE/INSURANCE – BERMUDA – 10% TAX – HR336

About this opportunity

Our client, a Bermuda-based insurer specializing in property, casualty and specialty reinsurance, is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Finance & Compliance Manager.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for overseeing accounting, reporting and system processes, as well as supporting compliance monitoring, regulatory obligations, governance and Board reporting. Responsibilities include preparing management accounts, variance analysis, the annual budget, and periodic reforecasts; preparing annual US GAAP financial statements and supporting regulatory filings; and executing the compliance monitoring program.

What you’ll need

• CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent designation
• At least five years of relevant experience in reinsurance, insurance, audit, or financial and regulatory reporting
• Experience with P&C reinsurance gained in industry or audit
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and BSCR
• Excellent analytical, review, and communication skills
