Job Description:
The HRBP partners with management and employees to support and implement HR programs, policies, and initiatives that align with business objectives. This role provides guidance on employee relations, employment laws, performance management, workforce planning, change management, and HR processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business and operational objectives.
Advise management on company policies, HR practices, and local, state, and federal employment laws.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
Manage personnel transactions including hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and related documentation.
Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, performance management, progressive discipline, terminations, and exit interviews.
Facilitate conflict resolution and recommend fair and equitable solutions.
Conduct HR analysis and develop strategies to support business objectives.
Partner with HR teams across the organization to ensure consistency in HR programs and processes.
Advise managers on compensation recommendations and identify potential issues.
Support change management and risk management initiatives.
Assist with collective bargaining agreements and/or contract administration, when required.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
 
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
5+ years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience.
Experience supporting or overseeing a workforce of 500–1,200 employees.
Construction industry experience preferred.
Telecom construction experience is a plus, particularly familiarity with structured cabling and network infrastructure.
Strong experience handling employee relations issues and exercising sound judgment.
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Experience with change management and risk management.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and facilitation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, and HR-related software.
HR professional certification preferred.
 
Key Skills / What the Hiring Manager Is Looking For:
5+ years of HRBP/HR Generalist experience supporting a large workforce of 500–1,200 employees.
Strong employee relations and HR compliance expertise.
Experience with employment laws, investigations, performance management, and employee transactions.
Strong change management and risk management capabilities.
Construction or telecom construction experience is highly preferred; structured cabling/network infrastructure knowledge is a plus.
