Lighthouse Youth & Family Services is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. You’ll partner with leaders and employees across the organization to build strong teams, navigate workplace challenges, and help create a positive environment where people can do their best work.
This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who brings sound judgement and is adept at building relationships and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on HR responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leaders and employees in assigned service areas.
- Manage complex employee relations matters and conduct fair, thorough, and objective workplace investigations.
- Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Partner with leaders to strengthen employee engagement, retention, and workplace relationships.
- Maintain strong knowledge of employment laws and regulation and help ensure HR practices are compliant and consistent. Â
- Analyze HR trends and data and recommend solutions to support employees and organizational goals.
- Support workforce planning, organizational changes, and succession planning.
- Support benefits administration, compliance activities, and other HR initiatives.
- Lead and participate in HR and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience managing complex employee relations issues.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and federal and state employment laws.
- Experience advising and coaching managers on employee and performance issues.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Four or more years of professional-level experience in human resources.
- HRCI or SHRM professional certification.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.Â
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, with a combination of remote and in-office work based on team and business needs. Some travel to Lighthouse locations is required, and occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary.
