Responsibilities
· Cut, fit, glue, and apply HPL sheets to horizontal and vertical surfaces (cabinets, countertops, panels, and architectural displays)
· Prepare substrates properly and apply contact adhesives to ensure strong, bubble-free bonds and clean finishes with tight seams
· Use laminate trimmers, routers, files, and sanders to achieve smooth seams, sharp edges, and clean corners
· Interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and build plans to ensure accurate dimensions and specs
· Inspect finished pieces for defects, gaps, or adhesive issues before passing them to final assembly
· Operate standard woodworking tools safely and keep the work area clean.
· Ability to use table saw, routers, sanders and most importantly, files is a must
· Record materials issued, used, or returned directly against specific job tasks, work orders, or service tickets as work happens
· Demonstrates a proactive mindset by identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing solutions without prompting.
· Timely entry of daily electronic time clock logs
Experience
· 5 years of experience in HPL lamination, architectural millwork, or cabinet/countertop fabrication
· Ability to lift 75 pounds
· Experience in tradeshows and exhibits is a plus
