About the location:

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in a clean, sanitary, and welcoming condition. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a positive guest experience by delivering high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards.
• Make beds and replace linens, towels, and guest amenities.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and corridors.
• Clean bathrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and other facilities thoroughly.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety hazards promptly.

Public Area Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and staff areas.
• Ensure all areas are neat, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Replenish supplies and amenities in public areas as required.

Guest Service

• Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests.
• Support guest satisfaction by addressing housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

• Follow company policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations.
• Report accidents, incidents, or lost-and-found items according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 15 kg throughout the shift.
• Ability to push housekeeping carts and operate cleaning equipment.
• Capability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and shifts.

Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor / Housekeeping Manager
