Villa Restaurant Group (VRG) is a multi-brand, multi-concept restaurant group specializing in quick-service and full-service restaurants across corporate and franchise operations.

We are currently hiring anHourly Assistant Manager to join our team atGeorge Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston, TX.

We're looking for a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality who can help support daily restaurant operations, lead a team, and provide an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced airport environment.

The Opportunity

As an Hourly Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations and support the team. This is ahands-on leadership role where you'll help ensure the restaurant runs smoothly while maintaining company standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety.

What You'll Do

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations

• Supervise, coach, and support Team Members

• Train and develop employees to meet company standards

• Help ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally

• Support food safety, sanitation, and company standards

• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost controls

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant

• Lead by example and provide hands-on support during busy periods

• Help create a positive and team-oriented work environment

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of restaurant supervisory or management experience; quick-service experience preferred

• Strong leadership and team-building skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required

Because this position is located atGeorge Bush Intercontinental Airport, asuccessful background check (BGC) is required as part of the hiring process.
