Host/Hostess | season 2027 | Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel

At Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, we are looking for a charismatic and warm Restaurant Host / Hostess, who will act as the first point of contact for our guests, delivering an iconic first impression. 

Primary Responsibilities Include 

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival at the restaurant, managing guest flow, table assignments, and coat checks. 

• Manage restaurant reservations and table bookings efficiently. 

• Communicate guest preferences, special celebrations, and allergies accurately to the service team and kitchen. 

• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring immediate comfort and introducing the floor team. 

• Handle incoming calls, guest inquiries, and seating changes with grace and professionalism. 

• Bid farewell to departing guests, gathering feedback to ensure complete satisfaction. 

What You Bring 

• Around 1–2 years of experience in a host/welcoming role within luxury hotels, fine-dining restaurants, or high-end venues. 

• Excellent presentation, poise, and welcoming interpersonal skills. 

• Experience with reservation management software and telephone etiquette. 

• Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive under pressure during peak service. 

• Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
