 What you’ll do: Â
TheHospitalCustomerServiceRepresentative/PatientConcierge is the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors in the hospital lobby and surgical waiting areas. This role deliversexceptionalcustomerservicebygreetingvisitors,answeringquestions,providingdirections,andfacilitatingcommunicationbetweenfamiliesandclinicalteamswhilemaintainingpatientprivacyandconfidentiality.
Key responsibilities include assisting with visitor management, providing patient status updates when appropriate, coordinating waiting room activities, and addressingconcernswithprofessionalismandempathy.Therepresentativehelpscreateawelcomingenvironment,connectspatientsandfamilieswithsupportservices,andresolvesissuesbypartneringwithdepartmentssuchasPatientRelations,SocialWork,ChaplainServices,andSecurity.
WhenservingasaPatientConcierge, this role provides wheelchairassistanceandescortspatientsandvisitorsthroughoutthehospital,includingassistanceenteringandexitingvehiclesorpublictransportation.Theidealcandidateiscompassionate,customer-focused,andskilledatcreatingapositiveexperienceforallpatientsandvisitors.
Shift:Â 6:00am - 2:30pmMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday - Saturday's and Wednesday's Off- Site Rotation as needed to

What you’ll need for this job: Â
High School Diploma or Equivalent Â
1-2 years of previous job-related experienceÂ
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to problem-solve by critically evaluating information and implementing effective solutions.
A proactive approach to quality improvement and operational efficiency.
Experience in a healthcare or similar customer service role is preferred.
Compensation
Pay Range:Â $15.66- $21.10 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.Â
