Pub Overview

Fantastic Pub with Traditional Victorian Features

Situated in the heart of the market town of Wednesbury with a population of around 30,000 the Horse & jockey is an impressive venue both inside & out. The Horse & Jockey has a stunning traditional Victorian back bar with rare ceramic tiles on the front of the bar, one of only 15 remaining in the UK. This makes it popular with locals and visitors to the area who want to relax and enjoy an all-round week food and drink offer including an excellent Sunday Lunch in warm welcoming surroundings. A well thought out ‘rhythm of the week’ entertainment programme including quiz nights, live music and charity events and the introduction of pool and darts teams you would boot mid-week trade. The Horse & Jockey also benefits from having a function room with its own bar servery and toilet facilities. The lessee would be able to let this out for parties and functions, which adds an addition income stream for the business.
