Homemaker Companion

Are you an experienced Homemaker Companion, Caregiver, or Home Care Companion who enjoys helping seniors remain comfortable, independent, and safe at home? Right at Home Northwest Oklahoma City is looking for compassionate and dependable team members to provide Homemaker Companion and in-home care services to clients in our community.
As a Homemaker Companion, you will help clients with everyday activities, provide meaningful companionship, and maintain a clean, comfortable living environment. If you have previous experience in caregiving, senior care, home care, or companion care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping living areas organized.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with meal planning as appropriate.
• Provide reminders for medications according to the client’s care plan and company policies.
• Assist clients with errands and everyday activities, as authorized.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or routine.
• Follow established care plans and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Homemaker Companion, Caregiver, Home Care Companion, Personal Care Aide, or similar role is preferred.
• Compassion, patience, dependability, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and respect client privacy.
• Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to clients’ homes, as required.
• Ability to complete required onboarding and training.

Training and Support
We provide support and training to help team members reinforce their existing caregiving knowledge and understand client-specific care requirements.

Qualifications

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a Homemaker Companion or in a similar role
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Current and valid driver’s license, with the ability to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with applicable laws
