We are seeking a dedicated Home Manager to lead and manage a personal residence in an unlicensed setting. You will coordinate services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring all care needs are met while fostering a supportive and structured environment. You will also manage a team of 5-6 Direct Support Professionals, guiding them in delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of services provided, ensuring needs are met per the Individual Plan of Service (IPOS).
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to Direct Support Professionals, fostering a culture of gentleness and respect.
- Develop staff schedules and manage on-call responsibilities, ensuring shift coverage.
- Oversee safety procedures, including incident reporting and safety drills.
- Maintain accurate individual records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Oversee training and management of Direct Support Professionals, providing input on personnel decisions.
- Facilitate monthly team meetings and in-service training sessions.
- Manage household budgets, including meal planning and expense tracking.
- Ensure strict compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including State/Federal, CMH, and Recipient Rights guidelines.
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a setting supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional certifications (e.g., MORC, BBP, First Aid, CPR) are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and managing household operations.
- Knowledge of community resources and initiatives related to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Competitive pay starting at $16.35+ per hour.
- $2,000 New Hire Bonus and additional Referral Bonuses up to $2,000 per referral.

- New Hire Bonus: $1,000 after 3 months of employment (minimum 412 hours of non-training work) and an additional $1,000 after 6 months (minimum 824 hours of non-training work). All required training must be completed to be eligible.
- Referral Bonus: $1,000 after referral completes 3 months of employment (minimum 412 hours of non-training work) and an additional $1,000 after 6 months (minimum 824 hours of non-training work). All required training must be completed to be eligible.
- Primary activities are conducted within the supported person’s residence and the community, requiring outdoor travel and potential exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform light housework and actively engage with individuals receiving care.
- Must be able to operate equipment such as wheelchairs and hand trucks.
