Job Summary

TheHome Delivery Permit Supervisor is responsible for securing and overseeing the permits BOXABL needs to sell and deliver its products nationwide. Working hand-in-hand with the sales organization, this role tracks changing regulations across jurisdictions, builds and files permit applications, and serves as the main point of contact with the government bodies that review and approve them. We're looking for someone with hands-on supervisory experience, sharp organizational instincts, and a genuine interest in untangling complex regulatory requirements — if that sounds like you, we'd love for you to help drive BOXABL's continued growth. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales stakeholders to pinpoint which permits are required to sell and distribute BOXABL products in each state of operation. 
  • Track evolving sales tax rules, licensing standards, and permitting procedures across multiple jurisdictions, keeping the team current on changes. 
  • Assemble, file, and track permit applications — including sales tax licenses and resale certificates — confirming each submission meets local, state, and federal requirements and stays on schedule. 
  • Work directly with tax authorities, government offices, and other relevant parties to move permit and approval requests through to completion without delay. 
  • Keep a well-organized system of record for every permit application, approval, and supporting document. 
  • Keep close watch on permit timelines and proactively update sales teams so processing and approvals stay on track. 
  • Act as a resource for sales teams on permit questions, troubleshooting obstacles and recommending practical solutions. 
  • Build and roll out improved processes and best practices for how permits are acquired and managed, driving greater efficiency over time. 
  • Represent BOXABL in dealings with regulatory agencies, serving as a professional, dependable advocate for the company's interests. 
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a comparable discipline is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated background handling sales-, licensing-, or tax-related permits, with solid command of how permit processes and regulations work. 
  • Prior experience guiding and motivating a team toward shared goals. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, comfortable working closely with both internal teams and outside stakeholders. 
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of juggling several permits at once without losing track. 
  • Comfortable using project management tools and the Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Open to traveling to different jurisdictions as the role requires. 
  • Flexible, resourceful problem-solver who can work through complicated permit requirements and unexpected challenges.
