Job Title: Guidewire QA Test Lead

Location: Markham, Ontario

Duration: 06-12 Months

Hourly Pay Rate: 50 CAD/hr.

Job Description:

This role involves leading the planning, estimation, execution, defect management, reporting, and release readiness for Guidewire P&C initiatives. The position requires driving testing across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, ContactManager, and core insurance workflows. Responsibilities include validating quotes, binding, policy changes, renewals, cancellations, billing, claims, documents, and customer updates. Additionally, the role involves leading TEST/SOAP API and integration testing for payloads, mappings, authentication, errors, and downstream impacts, coordinating SIT, E2E, regression, UAT support, production checkout, defect triage, and status reporting. Identifying automation opportunities for functional, regression, and API coverage is also expected.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• 8 years of QA testing experience including test lead ownership
• 5 years of Guidewire Testing, preferably PolicyCenter plus BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or ContactManager
• Strong P&C domain knowledge across Personal and/or Commercial Lines
• Functional, integration, API, regression, E2E, UAT, and production validation experience
• Proficiency in Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, Jira, Azure DevOps, Client ALM, and Agile

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Guidewire certification
• Cloud, upgrade/migration, implementation or GTF/GT API/GT:UI experience
• Experience with Selenium, REST Assured, Java, Python, Jenkins, Gut, data reconciliation, rating, underwriting, billing, claims, and regulatory workflows
