Job Description:

This role involves leading Guidewire functional testing efforts for critical business applications in a hybrid work environment, with a focus on ensuring quality and efficiency in testing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Guidewire Functional Testing Expertise in PC/BC and CC
• Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing processes
• Proficiency in defect management and test tracking using tools such as JIRA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Tosca)
• Basic skills in SQL for backend validation and database testing
• Understanding of insurance domains
• Exposure to Agile development life cycle, Scrum practices, or CI/CD pipeline integration
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Actively participate in requirements elaboration sessions, sprint planning, and release readiness reviews
• Design, develop, and execute functional test plans and detailed test cases
• Document, log, and track defects using management tools
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners
• Conduct regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Prepare high-quality test documentation and present testing results
• Coordinate with business stakeholders for demos and escalate issues as needed
