Manager, Retail Technology & Integrations

Specialized is seeking a motivated and experienced Manager, Retail Technology & Integrations to join our Global Enterprise Applications team in Morgan Hill, CA. In this role, you will lead a team of Business Analysts and Support teammates responsible for the technology that powers Specialized’s owned retail stores and independent dealer integrations. This includes POS, store websites, payment devices, Wi-Fi/network infrastructure, alarms, support processes, and the integrations that enable our omnichannel strategy across owned retail and independent bike shop partners. To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable leading people, building strong cross-functional relationships, translating business needs into technology outcomes, and helping the team balance day-to-day support with long-term platform improvement.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE 

• Partner with the Leader of Enterprise Applications to shape and manage the 3–5 year retail technology roadmap, incorporating feedback from Retail, Rider Care, Operations, Finance, Security, and Technology leaders while delivering reliable solutions across owned stores and independent bike shop integrations. 

• Manage and streamline the technology that powers Specialized’s owned retail stores, including POS, store websites, payment devices, Wi-Fi/network equipment, alarms, and related systems, with a focus on reliability, supportability, and a better store teammate and rider experience. 

• Ensure new solutions are tested, documented, supportable, and ready for store teams and dealer partners before launch, with clear ownership for issue resolution, escalation paths, and post-go-live stability. 

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts and Support teammates by setting clear priorities, creating accountability, improving ways of working, and helping each teammate grow in their role. 

• Ensure process documentation, support playbooks, training materials, and release communication that help owned retail stores, internal teams, and independent dealer partners are created, maintained and successfully adopted 

• Continuously evaluate retail technology processes, support trends, integration performance, and store/dealer feedback to identify improvements that increase reliability, reduce friction, and strengthen Specialized’s omnichannel experience. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN: 

• 5+ years of experience leading Business Analysts, Support teammates, Product Owners, or similar technology teams, with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process documentation, support materials, and technical tickets for development teams. 

• Experience with agile methodologies within JIRA and Confluence 

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; technical writing experience is a plus. 

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to learn from teammates, analyze past projects and advise Leadership on how our systems & integrations can be improved using reusable or new technical solutions 

•  Confidence in debugging and solutioning challenges during complex implementations  

• Strong self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to quickly synthesize new ideas and concepts.

PAY 

Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations: 

California Base Pay Range: ($137,000 - $198,000) 

*At Specialized, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and will depend on your work experience, skills, certification, and location.
