Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, who will take ownership of backend service design and development, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to define scope, make thoughtful trade-offs, and deliver meaningful results. You’ll be part of a culture where ideas are heard, opinions matter, and everyone has a voice in shaping what we build. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using .NET version 9 or higher. 
• Collaborate across the cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. 
  
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. 
• Design and implement scalable backend components and Microservices if needed. 
  
• Optimize application performance and database interactions. 
  
• Continuously research and adopt modern technologies to improve system reliability and efficiency. 
  
  

Qualifications 

• 5+ years of professional experience in distributed applications development. 
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the .NET ecosystem, with strong proficiency in .NET 9+
• Strong proficiency with relational database design and management PostgreSQL (familiarity with Oracle/SQL Server is a plus).
• Advanced expertise in Entity Framework Core, including complex database schema migrations.
• Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and API routing (e.g., Ocelot API Gateway).

Core Competencies

• Proven ability to analyze complex systems and collaborate on designing efficient, scalable solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills.
• Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities to guide and support the engineering team.

Practical Experience

The following areas are considered a plus. Hands-on experience is preferred, but deep expertise is not required:

• Distributed workflow orchestration and microservice communication (e.g., Temporal, Dapr).
• Application observability and distributed tracing (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Grafana).
• CI/CD pipeline integration and code coverage tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).

Working Hours and Terms 

Working Hours
from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. accordingly. 

Workdays: Monday to Friday (5 working days). 

Hybrid Schedule: 52 remote days per year, equivalent to one remote workday per week.
