Chemical Engineering Co-Op

Crane Currency has a Winter/Spring opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience in ourResearch & Developmentdepartment. This role is onsite and is based out ofNashua, New Hampshire. You can expect a January 2027 start and working through the Summer!

How you will make an impact: 

Our program is designed to give you the chance to make a true impact on the business. You will have a direct effect by means of the following: 

• Support research and development projects including continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Participate in trials, including prep, post-trial follow up, testing, data analysis, & report generation

• Participate in monthly lab and secure material audits

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: 

• You must currently be enrolled in a four-year degree program, or MS program with an accredited school in Enginereering with a preference to Chemical Engineering. 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Experience using Microsoft Office Products.

• Eagerness to learn.

• Ability to follow standard work instructions

• Be able to work around chemicals and equipment following safety protocals

• Academic or work experience in a chemical or lab environment, or process technician support is highly desireable.

Preferred:  

• Candidate has completed at least one full year of college or university studies; higher preference to rising Juniors or Seniors in Statistical, process engineering, or chemical engineering.

• Experience working in manufacturing
