Healthcare Insurance AR Specialist| Dallas, TX75251 | Full-time
Award-winning Dental organization needing an experienced Healthcare Insurance AR Specialist (Accounts Receivable)of at least 3 years to review account info, correct discrepancies, ensure accounts are properly billed, and payments collected. Requires skilled, thorough researcher, accurate, and self-motivated with strong finance and Medical/Dental insurance abilities.

Pay range: $21/hr - $25.89/hr(based on experience)
Shift: Mon to Fri, 8 hour shift in-office | 40 hours/week guaranteed
Huge potential to go perm based on performance!

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

At least3 years experience inhealthcare, dental, oral surgery RCM setting.
2 yearsexperience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist withinhealthcare
Understanding of Dental & Medical insurance.
Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
Computer, software, andEMR literacy.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

Job Duties:

Identify problem accounts with payors;investigate, correct errors, follow-up on missing account information, resolve past-due accounts.
Research inquiries regarding past-due balances and insurance guidelines.
Resolve delinquent accounts; prepare payment plans, monitor adherence by guarantor; direct accounts to inside collection department.
Prepare reports to identify and resolve accounts receivable issues.
Post data;verify and perform mathematical computations; maintain files.
Work to get any necessary documentation for patients, insurance carriers or other areas.
Identify patient accounts for collection action when delinquent or unable to contact patient.
Process theAccount Receivable Report.
Contact payors/insurance companies if delay in responding to statements or claims.
Verify patient & guarantor demographics toconfirm account for refunds team.
Document all communication regarding account between patient, guarantor, insurance carrier, practice, and surgeon.
Provide the utmost level of customer service to the practice.
