ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Supply Chain Management Consulting Manager to lead large-scale SAP ERP transformation programs with broad, end-to-end SCM expertise. This is a senior client-facing role demanding a rare combination of deep SAP functional knowledge across the full supply chain landscape anchored by strong consulting acumen and the credibility that comes from real industry experience.
The ideal candidate brings 8–14 years of combined industry and consulting experience, with a proven ability to shape transformation strategy, create reusable assets and frameworks, lead multi-workstream delivery, engage executive stakeholders, and build high-performing teams. Experience in healthcare is strongly preferred.
We are looking for a trusted advisor who can connect SAP capabilities to business outcomes, navigate complexity across integrated supply chain processes, and drive lasting change for our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Advisory & Executive Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders — Supply Chain Directors, COOs, and CIOs — aligning SAP SCM transformation strategy with enterprise business objectives
- Lead executive workshops and steering committee presentations, translating complex SAP SCM capabilities into clear, outcome-focused narratives for business audiences
- Drive vendor selection and RFP evaluation processes, including development of scoring frameworks, capability assessments, and recommendation papers
- Proactively identify client pain points, process maturity gaps, and value creation opportunities across the supply chain, and shape pragmatic roadmaps to address them
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships that generate trust, repeat engagement, and opportunities to expand program scope
Solution Strategy & Functional Design
- Lead functional discovery, current-state process assessments, and fit-gap analysis across the full SAP SCM domain
- Shape and own the end-to-end SAP SCM solution blueprint, covering integrated process design across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and fulfilment
- Drive design decisions at key program checkpoints, balancing standard SAP capabilities with business requirements and long-term scalability
- Ensure solution designs account for regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to healthcare and life sciences supply chains
Business Development & Practice Growth
- Lead and contribute to RFP responses, solution proposals, and client presentations, articulating the value and differentiation of the SAP SCM practice
- Contribute to thought leadership — white papers, point-of-view documents, and industry presentations
- Support account management and business development activities, identifying expansion opportunities within existing client relationships
- Participate in go-to-market initiatives, industry events, and capability showcases relevant to SAP supply chain transformation
Program Leadership & Governance
- Lead end-to-end SAP SCM transformation programs — from discovery and design through build, test, and go-live — as the functional program or workstream lead
- Define program governance structures, delivery frameworks, and quality assurance checkpoints; ensure delivery remains on scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams; develop and execute mitigation strategies with rigor and transparency
- Oversee functional team resourcing, task allocation, and performance across onshore and offshore delivery models
- Lead program status reporting, escalation management, and executive communication cadences
Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Act as a knowledge champion — curating reusable assets, delivery accelerators, and best practice documentation across SCM domains
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP SCM consultants across functional workstreams, fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous learning
- Provide technical and functional guidance to junior and mid-level consultants, conducting structured reviews of design documents, configuration, and test artefacts
- Contribute to talent development initiatives, onboarding frameworks, and competency assessments within the SAP SCM practice
