Grace Health is seeking an experiencedQuality Improvement Director to lead our organization’s quality improvement program and help advance safe, effective, patient-centered care.

This leadership role oversees quality initiatives, performance analytics, regulatory requirements, accreditation activities, and quality improvement strategies across the organization. The Director works closely with clinical leadership, IT, management, health plans, and community partners to use data and collaboration to improve outcomes, strengthen processes, and support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Grace Health’s organization-wide Quality Improvement Program.
• Develop, monitor, and evaluate quality improvement goals, plans, and initiatives.
• Oversee quality dashboards, reporting, and performance measures, including HEDIS and UDS measures.
• Analyze quality data and use findings to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead the Quality Improvement Committee and support related quality subcommittees.
• Oversee accreditation, regulatory, audit, inspection, and Patient-Centered Medical Home activities.
• Collaborate with IT and clinical leadership to improve data collection, reporting, and electronic medical record systems.
• Educate and train staff and leaders on quality improvement strategies and expectations.
• Partner with health plans and community organizations to support population health initiatives and reduce barriers to care.
• Lead patient and staff engagement initiatives and health education events.
• Participate in organizational strategy, budgeting, leadership discussions, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
• Strong understanding of healthcare quality improvement, clinical processes, and performance measurement.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with quality improvement, healthcare data, regulatory requirements, or accreditation preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare reporting systems preferred.
