Job Description
We are seeking anAEM-focused UX/UI Developer to help create modern, intuitive digital experiences across enterprise web platforms. This role sits at the intersection ofUX/UI design, front-end development, and Adobe Experience Manager, working closely with product managers, UX designers, AEM developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will understand how to translate UX and design requirements into scalable, reusable AEM experiences, with hands-on knowledge of AEM components, templates, authoring experiences, and modern front-end development.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop intuitive, responsive user experiences withinAdobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Translate UX/UI designs, wireframes, and business requirements into reusable AEM components and page experiences.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, developers, and architects throughout the design and development lifecycle.
  • Build and enhanceAEM components, templates, and authoring experiences with a strong focus on usability and consistency.
  • Develop responsive front-end experiences usingHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Ensure experiences are optimized for usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and performance across devices.
  • Help establish and maintain reusable UI patterns and design-system components across digital properties.
  • Work with AEM developers to ensure designs can be effectively implemented within the AEM platform.
  • Participate in usability discussions, design reviews, and technical reviews.
  • Troubleshoot UI and front-end issues across AEM environments and support production improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into practical digital experiences.
  • Contribute to an Agile development environment using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience inUX/UI development, front-end development, or a related digital experience role.
  • Hands-on experience working withAdobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and modern web design.
  • Strong proficiency with:
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • JavaScript
    • Responsive web development
  • Experience developing or working withAEM components and templates.
  • Experience with React, Angular, or another modern front-end framework.
  • Understanding of accessibility and web usability standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience withAEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
  • Experience with AEM 6.5/on-prem environments.
  • Experience developing reusableAEM component libraries or design systems.
  • Experience with HTL/Sightly and Sling Models.
  • Experience working with AEM authoring interfaces and content structures.
  • Familiarity with DAM and content authoring workflows.
  • Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design/prototyping tools.
  • Experience with accessibility standards such as WCAG.
  • Experience with CI/CD and cloud-based development environments.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development or design tools.
Work Location
This position requires ahybrid schedule of 4 days per week onsite and 1 day per week remote.
Candidates must be located withinMetro Detroit and able to commute to the worksite beginning at the start of the assignment. Fully remote work is not available.
