Head of US Regulatory & Compliance

Hacksaw Markets is a B2B prediction-market platform that operators can use to offer prediction markets under their own brands. As theHead of US Regulatory & Compliance you will own the US regulatory and compliance strategy for Hacksaw Markets. Working directly with leadership, product and legal teams, you will translate complex rules into practical product requirements, operating controls and a credible path to market.

What you will own

• Develop and lead the US regulatory strategy, licensing-readiness plan and compliance roadmap.
• Interpret CFTC, Commodity Exchange Act and related requirements for product and operations teams.
• Design the compliance management system, including governance, policies, monitoring, testing and reporting.
• Lead constructive engagement with regulators, external counsel, prospective partners and other stakeholders.
• Review new markets, product features, distribution models and commercial partnerships before launch.
• Build the compliance organisation and define ownership across AML/KYC, sanctions, surveillance and investigations.

What you bring

• 10+ years in US regulatory, compliance or legal leadership within derivatives, exchanges, market infrastructure or fintech.
• Deep working knowledge of CFTC-regulated markets and the ability to apply rules to new product models.
• Experience with licensing, examinations, regulatory submissions or direct regulator engagement.
• A practical builder’s mindset and the ability to create scalable frameworks without unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Strong judgment, executive presence and clear communication.
