Job Description
We're looking for an exceptional Talent Acquisition leader to take ownership of recruitment delivery across our Support Office, Qualified Healthcare and Retail populations, ensuring we attract and hire the talent needed to deliver our business ambitions.You'll lead our Talent Acquisition Managers and their teams and be responsible for translating workforce plans and talent strategies into exceptional operational delivery.Â
You'll drive performance, build strong relationships across our business, champion innovation and ensure every candidate experiences the very best of Boots.
What you'll be doing
As Head of Talent Acquisition Delivery, you'll be:
•   Leading Talent Acquisition delivery across multiple business areas, ensuring workforce plans are translated into successful hiring outcomes and business priorities are met.
•   Leading and developing your team, building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and exceptional service.
•   Partnering with senior leaders to understand workforce needs, provide expert advice and delivering hiring solutions that support business performance and growth.
•   Driving operational excellence through effective resource planning, prioritisation and performance management, ensuring teams deliver against service, quality and efficiency targets.
•   Using data, insight and market intelligence to monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and continuously improve recruitment outcomes.
•   Championing innovation and transformation, embedding new technologies, AI-enabled solutions and improved ways of working across Talent Acquisition.
•   Creating an outstanding candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects the Boots employer brand and supports our ambition to attract the very best talent.
•   Ensuring strong governance and commercial discipline, including responsibility for budget management, compliance, data privacy, business continuity and operational resilience.
What you’ll need to have
•   Significant leadership experience within Talent Acquisition, with a proven track record of leading large-scale recruitment operations across complex organisations.
•   Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, talent mapping and pipeline strategies, with the ability to ensure these are effectively translated into delivery across scarce, specialist and high-volume talent.
•   The ability to translate business priorities into clear talent acquisition plans with measurable outcomes.
•   Proven success driving operational excellence through process improvement, transformation and the adoption of recruitment technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
•   Strong analytical capability, using data, insights and market intelligence to drive decision-making, improve performance and shape future hiring strategies.
•   A strong understanding of governance, compliance, data privacy and risk management, alongside experience managing budgets and external suppliers.
•   Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels, lead teams through change and build high-performing, delivery-focused cultures.
