About the role

At Södra Bioproducts, we develop sustainable alternatives to fossil-based materials and build businesses that make a real difference for our customers, the climate, and the future. We are now looking for a Head of Sales to take on a key role in the next phase of our growth journey.

This is a unique opportunity to combine commercial expertise, leadership, and business development in an environment where an entrepreneurial mindset meets the strength and resources of one of Sweden’s largest forest industry groups.

We are entering an exciting phase of development, with new products, new markets, and ambitious plans for 2027 and beyond. We are looking for someone who wants to lead our sales team and help maximize the global value and potential of Södra’s bioproducts.

What you´ll be working with at Södra

As Head of Sales, you will have overall responsibility for sales within Bioproducts. You will lead and develop an international sales team while driving the strategic agenda to strengthen our position in the market.

Your role goes beyond achieving sales targets. You will contribute to developing the business, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring that our products reach the markets and applications where they can create the greatest value.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing a team of 6–8 sales professionals.

• Taking responsibility for sales strategy, sales processes, commercial development, and operational sales.

• Identifying new business opportunities and market segments.

• Contributing to successful product launches and market entries.

• Strengthening collaboration between Sales, Product Management, Innovation, and Production.

• Building long-term relationships with customers and strategic partners.

• Ensuring that market needs are translated into profitable business opportunities.

The role involves close collaboration with customers around the world and offers significant opportunities to influence the future direction and development of the business.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The location will be agreed upon with the successful candidate.

• SeveralyearsofexperienceinsaleswithinaninternationalB2Benvironment.

• Experienceinproductlaunchesorthecommercializationofnewofferings.

• Agoodunderstandingofthevaluechain,fromproductiontotheendcustomer.

• FluencyinEnglish,bothspokenandwritten.

• AwillingnessandambitiontolearnSwedishwithinyourfirstyear.

• Avaliddrivinglicence.

Experiencefrombioproducts,chemicals,orrelatedindustriesisconsideredanadvantage.
