About Lyric

Lyric Health connects virtual care, intelligent navigation, and an ecosystem of in-person care destinations to help people access high-quality, cost-effective care. Our healthcare operating system brings together engagement, intelligence, care delivery, and integration, enabling channel partners and customers to build solutions around the needs of the populations they serve.

Position Summary

The Head of Product will own Lyric’s product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution. This leader will translate member, provider, customer, and channel partner needs into scalable capabilities that improve the care experience, support growth, and strengthen operating performance.

Working closely with executive leadership, engineering, clinical, operations, sales, and customer and channel success, this role will guide the evolution of Lyric’s platform, clinical service experiences, partner solutions, and Grace, our AI care companion. The ideal candidate combines strategic judgment with hands-on product leadership and a practical understanding of healthcare delivery and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Product strategy and portfolio.Define a clear product vision and portfolio strategy aligned with Lyric’s business goals. Own a prioritized roadmap that balances customer needs, clinical value, growth, margin, technical dependencies, and available capacity.

Discovery and customer insight.Build a consistent discovery process with members, providers, channel partners, and customers. Validate problems and demand before investing, and turn feedback, market intelligence, and usage data into product decisions.

Delivery and product operations.Translate strategy into clear requirements, workflows, acceptance criteria, and release plans. Partner with engineering and design to manage priorities, resolve tradeoffs, and deliver reliable, usable capabilities on a predictable cadence.

Platform and partner experience.Advance configurable, white label solutions for channel partners and end customers, including employers, TPAs, associations, benefit aggregators, and consumers. Favor reusable capabilities that simplify onboarding, administration, and ongoing support.

Grace and intelligent engagement.Shape Grace’s product roadmap across intake, triage support, navigation, education, and member engagement. Partner with clinical, privacy, security, and engineering leaders to establish appropriate oversight, escalation, evaluation, and monitoring.

Connected care and integration.Guide product requirements for eligibility, benefits, claims, EHRs, labs, pharmacy, wearables, and other relevant signals. Support a longitudinal health record and navigation to appropriate virtual and in-person care destinations.

Commercialization and adoption.Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and customer and channel success on packaging, pricing recommendations, launch readiness, training, and adoption. Ensure product commitments are feasible and clearly communicated.

Team and performance.Build and develop the product function, establish accountability, and create clear cross-functional decision processes. Define product metrics, review results, and use evidence to improve or retire capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive product management experience, ideally including experience leading product strategy, teams, or a significant product portfolio.
  • Experience building and scaling healthcare technology or technology-enabled healthcare services, with an understanding of employer benefits, payer or TPA needs, provider workflows, or channel distribution.
  • A demonstrated record of taking products from discovery through launch and adoption, with measurable customer and business results.
  • Strong prioritization, analytical, and financial skills, including business cases, product economics, and decisions about where to invest.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering and design on APIs, integrations, data quality, reliability, and user experience without needing to be the technical architect.
  • Experience guiding AI-enabled or data-driven products, with sound judgment about evaluation, human oversight, and safe use in healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills, including the ability to make complex decisions clear to executive, technical, clinical, and commercial audiences.
  • A hands-on leadership style, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to build practical processes in a growing organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience; an advanced degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is a plus.
  • Virtual care, care navigation, primary care, behavioral health, or connected care ecosystems.
  • Enterprise platforms with white label, configurable, or multi-tenant capabilities and partner-facing APIs.
  • Healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR, and collaboration with privacy and security teams on HIPAA-related requirements.
  • Product launches through channel partners and commercial models involving recurring revenue, utilization, or ecosystem partnerships.
  • A clear, shared product strategy and prioritized roadmap with defined outcomes, owners, and release expectations.
  • Higher member and provider engagement, stronger adoption of partner solutions, and simpler onboarding and care journeys.
  • Releases that meet quality expectations and reduce avoidable defects, support burden, and operational effort.
  • Measurable contributions to retention, expansion, margin, and appropriate use of care destinations, using agreed baselines and targets.
  • A product organization that uses customer evidence and performance data to make timely, transparent decisions.
