Location: Citywest Support Office, Dublin

As the Head of Pharmacy Business & Healthcare Development, you will lead the growth and evolution of pharmacy and healthcare services across Boots Ireland. Accountable for turning strategy into action, you will drive the development and delivery of innovative healthcare propositions that enhance commercial performance and customer outcomes. Working across Ireland, UK teams and external partners, you will lead complex cross-functional initiatives, build strategic commercial relationships and shape the future of healthcare at Boots.This role may require travel to Boots Ireland locations nationwide and occasional travel to Boots UK Support Office in Nottingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of pharmacy business growth initiatives to drive sales and profitability.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of healthcare propositions, from concept through to implementation.
  • Identify and develop new healthcare and commercial opportunities that support Boots Ireland's growth ambitions.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with healthcare providers, commercial partners and key stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to ensure successful delivery of strategic priorities.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and represent Ireland within relevant UK healthcare initiatives and governance forums.
  • Monitor pharmacy performance and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Manage budgets, business cases and investment proposals relating to healthcare development programmes.
What You'll Need to Have
  • Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland or equivalent healthcare leadership experience.
  • Significant experience in pharmacy, healthcare or commercial healthcare environments.
  • Proven experience leading strategic initiatives from concept through to delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong track record of healthcare service development, commercial growth and stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish healthcare landscape and regulatory requirements.
  • Full Driving Licence.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders within complex matrix organisations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects involving UK and Irish stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships and commercial relationships.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
