Are you an inspiring leader who can turn commercial ambition into operational excellence?

We are looking for a motivating Operations leader to build strong capabilities, empower our people and deliver the operational excellence that enables sustainable growth in LEGO China!

Core Responsibilities

  • Set the annual priorities and strategic direction for China Operations, ensuring the team is focused on delivering critical commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Lead and continuously strengthen the end-to-end Operations function across S&OP, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Customer Order Management, Import & Export, and retail inventory management for LEGO-owned inventory.
  • Partner closely with the Global and APAC Supply Chain network to translate China market demand into effective supply, inventory and distribution plans, enabling reliable and timely customer fulfilment.
  • Drive improved demand-planning accuracy and quality of insights by integrating product portfolio, channel and commercial forecasts.
  • Deliver excellent service for online and offline retail partners through strong order fulfilment, inventory management and operational execution.
  • Enable B2C e-commerce operations, including channels such as Tmall, by partnering effectively with external store service providers and third-party logistics partners to ensure inventory is managed in line with operational standards.
  • Build future-ready Operations capabilities and a high-performing, engaged organisation, with strong succession and talent pipelines across critical roles.
  • Champion continuous improvement, digitalisation and operational excellence across the function.

Play your part in our team succeeding!

As a key member of the China Leadership Team, you will help shape the commercial and organisational direction of the China Market Group, bringing an Operations and Supply Chain perspective to key business decisions.

You will define the strategic priorities and roadmap for China Operations, building the capabilities and operational foundation required to support the mid- and long-term business ambition. Success will require close partnership with the APAC China Supply Chain Operations team in Singapore, the manufacturing organisation in Jiaxing, and global Supply Chain stakeholders.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong business and commercial acumen, ideally gained within FMCG, CPG, retail, consumer goods or a similarly complex omnichannel environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a broad Operations and/or Supply Chain function, with strong understanding of S&OP, demand planning, inventory management, customer service and order fulfilment.
  • Strong demand-planning and forecasting expertise, with the ability to guide decisions across different and changing business scenarios.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a global matrix organisation, balancing global frameworks and priorities with local market needs.
  • Strong stakeholder leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build partnerships across commercial, supply chain, manufacturing and external partner organisations.
  • A track record of driving continuous improvement, operational transformation and digital enablement.
  • Strong people leadership, with demonstrated ability to build organisational capability, develop talent and create an inclusive, high-performing team.
  • High learning agility and curiosity, actively bringing external benchmarks, market trends and global best practices into the organisation.
  • A values-led and respectful leadership style, demonstrating LEGO values through everyday decisions and actions.
  • Strong understanding of the China business and cultural environment. Mandarin language capability would be an advantage where relevant to stakeholder and operational interactions.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10–15%, including domestic, regional and global business travel.
