IHRE AUFGABEN

• Führung des Controlling-Teams (derzeit fünf Mitarbeitende)
• Beratung und Unterstützung der Geschäftsführung durch aussagekräftige Analysen, Reportings und Handlungsempfehlungen aus Sicht von Finance zur Weiterentwicklung des Produktionsstandorts Berlin
• Gesamtverantwortung für die jährliche Budget- und Finanzplanung für die Produktion und das Engineering
• Durchführung von Wirtschaftlichkeits- und Kostenanalysen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Business Unit Managern sowie Unterstützung bei der Umsetzung und Nachverfolgung definierter Maßnahmen
• Regelmäßige Aufbereitung und Präsentation relevanter Kennzahlen, Geschäftsergebnisse und Projekte vor nationalen und internationalen Stakeholdern
• Analyse, Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung bestehender Controlling- und Finanzprozesse sowie Einführung neuer effizienter Lösungen in Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachbereichen
• Unterstützung bei der fristgerechten Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen nach HGB und IFRS
• Verantwortung für die Budgetplanung und das Kostencontrolling von Entwicklungsprojekten des Otis Engineer Berlin
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Finance-Teams innerhalb einer globalen Matrixorganisation, z.B. Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, IT
• Mitarbeit und Mitglied des Management Teams Berlin
• Leitung und Begleitung von Sonderprojekten, beispielsweise im Rahmen von ERP-Implementierungen, Prozessoptimierungen oder organisatorischen Weiterentwicklungen im Finanzbereich
• Überwachung des finanziellen und kaufmännischen Managements von Subunternehmern, einschließlich Budgetplanung, Kostenverfolgung, Rechnungsprüfung und Leistungsüberwachung
• Erstellung und Pflege von Intercompany-Preislisten für das Produktportfolio des Berliner Produktionsstandorts

IHR PROFIL

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit Schwerpunkt Finance oder Controlling oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Mehrjährige Berufs- und Führungserfahrung im Finanzbereich eines mittelständischen oder international tätigen Unternehmens
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in den Rechnungslegungsstandards HGB und IFRS
• Hohe IT-Affinität sowie sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft 365, insbesondere Excel
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit ERP-Systemen; Kenntnisse in Power BI sind von Vorteil
• Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Head of Finance - Factory Finance Business Partner  (all genders)

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Controlling team (currently five employees)
• Act as a trusted business partner to the management team by providing insightful analyses, reporting, and recommendations that support the financial strategy and performance of the Berlin manufacturing site
• Take full responsibility for the annual budgeting and financial planning process, with a particular focus on personnel and operating costs
• Conduct profitability and cost analyses in close cooperation with Business Unit Managers and support the implementation and monitoring of improvement initiatives
• Prepare and present KPIs, financial results, and project updates to national and international stakeholders on a regular basis
• Analyze, optimize, and further develop existing controlling and finance processes while driving the implementation of efficient new solutions in collaboration with relevant Business Units
• Support the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
• Budget and cost controlling of development projects within the Otis Engineering Berlin
• Work closely with international Finance teams within a global matrix organization, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, IT and at the same time working closely with Berlin Factory Leadership team.
• Lead and support business projects, such as ERP implementations, process improvement initiatives, and organizational development projects within the Finance function
• Oversee the financial and commercial management of subcontractors, including budgeting, cost tracking, invoice validation, and performance monitoring
• Manage and maintain intercompany pricing structures for the Berlin factory product portfolio

Your Profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, including proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, mid-sized, or international business environment
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and US GAAP accounting principles
• High level of IT affinity and proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems, knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
• Fluent German and very good English communication skills, both written and spoken
