Head of Europe Regulatory & Compliance

Hacksaw Markets is a B2B prediction-market platform that operators can use to offer prediction markets under their own brands. As theHead of Europe Regulatory & Complianceyou will own the European regulatory and compliance strategy for Hacksaw Markets. You will map the requirements relevant to the business model, set the market-entry sequence and translate regulation into product controls, operating standards and commercially workable partnerships.

What you will own

• Develop the European regulatory strategy, licensing-readiness plan and compliance roadmap.
• Assess gaming, betting, financial-market, AML, sanctions, consumer-protection and data requirements relevant to each launch.
• Create a repeatable framework for jurisdiction assessment, product approval and regulatory change management.
• Lead engagement with regulators, external counsel, operators, suppliers and strategic partners.
• Review market structures, product features, data flows and commercial models before launch.
• Build the European compliance organisation and establish clear governance, monitoring, escalation and reporting.

What you bring

• 10+ years in European regulatory, compliance or legal leadership within betting, gaming, exchanges, fintech or market infrastructure.
• Experience securing or supporting licences and operating across more than one regulatory regime.
• Strong working knowledge of AML/KYC, sanctions, consumer protection and product-governance controls.
• A practical approach to balancing regulatory credibility, product design and commercial execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management, judgment and written communication.
