The Head of AI Enablement is accountable for AI demand management, prioritisation, adoption, governance coordination and value realisation. Delivery of AI products and capabilities is achieved in partnership with Technology, which provides the enterprise platforms, engineering, architecture, security, data and operational capabilities required to deliver AI solutions safely and at scale. This role will therefore be highly collaborative, working across business and technology functions to achieve shared outcomes
What You'll Do
In this senior leadership role, you will:
- Define and execute the enterprise AI Enablement strategy, ensuring alignment to business priorities, transformation objectives and measurable value outcomes.
- Own the portfolio of AI opportunities, products and use cases, shaping demand, prioritising investment and driving successful adoption from experimentation through to scaled business value.
- Lead the AI Enablement function, providing a single front door for AI demand, governance coordination, business readiness, adoption and benefits realisation.
- Partner closely with Technology leadership to ensure AI products and services are delivered using enterprise-approved platforms, data foundations, engineering standards, security controls and architectural guardrails.
- Drive AI awareness, literacy and adoption across all colleague populations through the Fluent programme and other enablement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective governance processes, ensuring AI initiatives progress through the appropriate controls, risk reviews and decision forums whilst balancing innovation with responsible AI principles.
- Work with business leaders, Technology teams and transformation programmes to identify, prioritise and scale high-value AI opportunities across the enterprise.
- Track and report value realisation, adoption metrics and portfolio performance, ensuring AI investments deliver measurable business outcomes.
What We're Looking For
We seek a visionary leader with:
- Significant experience leading AI, digital, data or transformation portfolios within a large and complex organisation.
- A strong understanding of Generative AI, machine learning, agent-based technologies and the broader enterprise AI ecosystem.
- Proven experience driving organisational adoption, change management, value realisation and business transformation at scale.
- Strong portfolio management and stakeholder leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
- Experience working in partnership with Architecture, Engineering, Security, Data and Platform teams to scale enterprise capabilities and deliver technology-enabled business outcomes.
- A track record of building collaborative, multidisciplinary teams and leading through influence across federated organisations.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking skills, with experience balancing innovation, risk, governance and business value
