Life Insurance Consulting Manager

The Opportunity

Life & Annuity carriers are modernizing core platforms, redesigning operating models, and exploring how AI and intelligent agents can improve business performance. In this role, you will work with client leaders to shape future-state solutions and deliver transformation across business and technology.

Role Summary

Life Insurance Consulting Managers lead critical workstreams across complex transformation programs. They translate business objectives into practical solutions, align cross-functional teams, and maintain accountability for delivery and measurable outcomes

Responsibilities

·       Lead business and technology workstreams from strategy through implementation and value realization

·       Define transformation objectives, future-state operating models, and modernization roadmaps

·       Redesign end-to-end workflows across the Life & Annuity value chain

·       Design AI-enabled workflows, including orchestration, human decision points, controls, and value measures

·       Connect operations, digital core platforms, data, integration, and AI

·       Align stakeholders and manage scope, dependencies, risks, decisions, quality, and adoption

·       Develop business cases, executive recommendations, and client-ready deliverables

·       Contribute to proposals, solution shaping, thought leadership, and go-to-market offerings

·       Build client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and develop consulting team members

·       Travel up to 80% based on client and project requirements

Basic Qualifications

·       5+ years of management consulting, carrier, or business and technology transformation experience, including experience within Life Insurance or Annuities

·       3+ years of experience leading a business or technology workstream within a transformation, modernization, or platform implementation program

·       Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

·       Strong knowledge of the Life & Annuity value chain across business and technology

·       Knowledge of policy administration and digital core modernization, including workflow, data, integration, and digital channels

·       Familiarity with platforms such as ALIP, OIPA, Sapiens, FAST, Fadata, EIS, Majesco, or comparable technologies

·       Applied knowledge of AI-enabled or agentic workflows

·       Strong problem-solving, client communication, team leadership, and stakeholder management skills

·       Ability to translate complex business objectives into clear plans and measurable outcomes

·       Life & Annuity carrier background and relevant industry, agile, architecture, or cloud credentials are valued

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
