Hardware Automation Engineer - Bioprocessing Revolution

The Challenge

We're not looking to make incremental improvements. We're aiming to completely reimagine bio-manufacturing automation which will be a backbone for us to create the World's First & Only Zero Sugar Juice, sustainably and effectively. Your task: develop groundbreaking automation tools that will make our bioprocessing activities exponentially faster and more efficient. Think SpaceX for biotech.

What you will do

• Design and develop innovative automation solutions for fluid handling, transfer, and processing parameter control

• Integrate IoT devices, cobots, and other cutting-edge technologies into bioprocessing systems

• Create robust control systems that can manage complex bioprocessing workflows autonomously

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to push the limits of what's possible in bioprocessing automation

• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and implement automation solutions

• Transform abstract concepts into tangible, working systems that revolutionize our production capabilities

What you need to have

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field

• 1+ years of experience in automation, robotics, or related field (we value exceptional talent over years of experience)

• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to automation (e.g., Python, C++, ladder logic)

• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators

• Familiarity with IoT technologies and industrial communication protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Rapid thinking & actions with ambition to get yourself up to speed at a heroic pace, and accomplish something meaningfully difficult early in your career.

• Experience working at hardware or deeptech startups that required a scrappy, entrepreneurial mindset to accomplish challenging tasks with tight time or budget constraints.

• Knowledge of fluid dynamics and pumping systems

• Familiarity with collaborative robots (cobots) and their integration

• Experience with machine vision systems
