Harbor Management & Coastal Planning Consultant

AlphaGov is engaging a Harbor Management & Coastal Planning Consultant for current municipal work. A Connecticut city is updating its harbor management plan.

We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.

What you'll do

- Inventory harbor uses, moorings, facilities, and navigation areas

- Prepare harbor management plan updates consistent with state coastal statutes

- Facilitate harbor commission and stakeholder engagement

- Recommend policies on access, resilience, and water-dependent uses

- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Required

- At least 5 years of professional experience in harbor, waterfront, or coastal planning

- Experience preparing harbor management or coastal plans

- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant

- Connecticut Harbor Management Act / CT DEEP experience
