Registered Nurse - Ambulatory - Cardiovascular Medicine

Schedule: Full- Time, 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm

Role Overview

As an Ambulatory RN you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. You'll utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and their families. This role supports patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring clinical competence and effective communication in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.

What You Will Do

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and education.
• Delegate, supervise, and document nursing care and teaching for patients and families.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current clinical knowledge in your area of specialty.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS or ACLS certification per Henry Ford Health policy.
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred two years RN experience in the specialty
• Knowledge of electrophysiology and cardiac procedures
• IV skills for IV insertions 
• Experience with triaging patients over the phone
