Job Description Summary:
Production Planning Analyst III is responsible for developing and managing finite production schedules to support efficient manufacturing operations within CPS Korea. This role works closely with Production, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to improve production performance, material availability, and operational efficiency. The position also analyzes key production KPIs such as OEE, MUV, and PTS to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical skills, production planning system knowledge (APS/SAP), and effective cross-functional communication are essential for success in this role.
WhatYou’ll Do for Us
Finite Scheduling & Production Coordination
Develop and manage finite production schedules using APS (Advanced Planning System), considering labor availability, machine capacity, raw material supply, maintenance schedules, and holidays.
Analyze and review master production plans for dry and liquid production processes to ensure operational feasibility and efficiency.
Monitor daily production execution and ensure adherence to planned schedules.
Coordinate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and related departments to ensure smooth production operations.
Calculate and managerequired raw and packaging material quantities based on production schedules and ensuretimely material availability.
Lead production schedule adjustments for over-forecast situations, urgent priorities, and operational changes.
Manage production-related master data and operational parameters to ensure alignment between system settings and actual production conditions.
Coordinateproduction rework schedules and ensure material readiness and timeline compliance.
Support new productintroduction (including RFM projects) by reviewing production capabilities, line allocation, cycle time, and operational requirements.
Participate in process improvements, equipment/work center changes, and operational transition activities.
Own and manage PTS (Performance to Schedule) performance and drive continuous improvement activities.
Participate in special assignments including global benchmark studies, productivity initiatives, and process improvement projects.
Production Performance Analysis & KPI Management
Analyze andmonitor production performance indicators including OEE, MUV, SPC, and line capacityutilization.
Identify trends, performance gaps, and root causes of operational abnormalities.
Conduct weekly and monthly performance analysis and prepare reports for management review meetings.
Develop and follow up improvement action plans when KPI performance falls below target.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in daily operational meetings and communicate production performance status and risks.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Operational Excellence (OE) methodologies and problem-solving tools.
Participate in productivity and efficiency improvement projects (PoF initiatives).
Support process standardization and operational optimization activities.
Contribute to production capability enhancement and waste reduction initiatives.
Systems & Compliance Support
Support production-related KPI targetsetting during annual business planning.
Collaborate with global and local teams to resolve issues related to SAP, MII, SPC, OEE, and other production systems.
Participate in system enhancement, implementation, and update activities related to manufacturing operations.
Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in global, regional, or local cross-functional projects asrequired.

Qualification & Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degreerequired; Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred.
Experience
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in production scheduling or manufacturing planning.
2. Experience with APS or production scheduling systems preferred.
3. Practical experience with SAP, especially production planning-related modules,preferred.
4. Experience in food or beverage manufacturing industry preferred.
5. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills
1. Strong knowledge of production scheduling and manufacturing operations.
2. Proficient in APS, SAP, Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, and Power Applications.
3. Understanding of OEE, MUV, SPC, and continuous improvement methodologies.
4. Knowledge of HACCP, FSSC22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems.
5. Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production capacity analysis, and operational KPI management.
6. Ability to analyze production data andidentify operational improvement opportunities.
7. Knowledge of supplychain, packaging materials, and production processes preferred.
