Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced USAG Developmental Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spotting, organization, and reliability. This individual should be collaborative, willing to learn, and enjoy working as part of a team toward common goals.
Responsibilities:
Coach compulsory and/or optional level gymnasts in accordance with USAG guidelines.
Develop and implement training plans that align with the gym's philosophy and goals.
Spot athletes up to level 10 safely and effectively during practices and competitions.
Maintain a high level of organization in training sessions and record-keeping.
Foster a positive and motivating training environment.
Collaborate with other coaches and staff to achieve team objectives.
Participate in ongoing professional development and be open to learning new techniques and methods.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes.
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other team members.
Qualifications:
Proven experience coaching compulsory and/or optional level gymnasts.
Strong spotting skills and knowledge of USAG rules and regulations.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new coaching methods.
Passion for working with young athletes and helping them achieve their full potential.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
USAG Professional membership and Safesport certification required.
