Responsibilities

  • Support Onboard Airline Check-ins (OAC) – Single point of contact for communication to shore side with regards to travel updates and feedback, BAGS and Ground Services
  • Print boarding passes and bag tags
  • Support Cashless Laundry System
  • Single point of contact for all AGE and protein spill reported incidents
  • Provide internet support for Guests including personal one-on-one assistance, assisting with personal devices connecting to Wi-Fi, issuing credits, and recording Guest internet issues
  • Partner with Housekeeping to ensure smooth luggage process and communication to Guests
  • Ordering of OAC supplies
  • Ensure all valuable lost &found items are accurately tagged and logged in the lost & found system
  • Responsible for reviewing accessibility reports, communicating/partnering with Automation for the setup/collection  of TTY kits ensuring all accessibility/listening devices are in good working order
  • Partner with shore side security to monitor the confiscated items in the terminal on embarkation day
  • Responsible for printing of boarding passes and luggage tags for the OAC program
  • Responsible for the printing of gratuity tickets (Magic class ships)
  • Responsible for preparing and printing of Officer Family and Vendor IDs
  • Assist at the Guest Services desk during scheduled shift
  • Ensure rental laptops are in proper working order and assist Guests with the DCL App 
  • Provide internet support for Guests including personal one-on-one assistance, assisting with personal devices connecting to Wi-Fi, issuing credits, and recording Guest internet issues
  • Manage Guest and Crew internet downtimes 
  • Handle all DCL App concerns/promote DCL App to Guests
  • Onboard point of contact for DCL App issues, questions and concerns
  • Daily balancing of internet revenue within Fidelio
  • Work directly with designated shore side Manager of Onboard Revenue to ensure shipboard service and revenue success
  • Successfully achieve/exceed budgeted revenue targets
  • Sell internet packages to Guests 
  • Manage Executive and Media internet accounts 

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Knowledge of Guest Services operation
  • Previous experience as a Guest Services H/H
  • Good computer knowledge & strong technical savvy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills

Additional Information

This is a SHIPBOARD role. 
You must: 
  • Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel 
  • Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities, and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan 
  • Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control 
  • If applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations 
Your Responsibilities: 
  • Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this) 
  • Complete a pre-employment medical 
  • Obtain a criminal background check 
  • Bring approved work shoes
