About the Role
As aDelivery Manager – GridOS DERMS Services, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering DERMS projects and services with a focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees cross‐functional engineering teams involved in integrating and deployingdistributed energy resource management solutions.
You will ensure smooth execution of DERMS implementations, manage customer communications, and support high‐availability operations that enable utilities to manage DER fleets, optimize grid performance, and meet regulatory and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead theend‐to‐end delivery of GridOS DERMS projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate activities acrossDERMS engineering, integration, testing, forecasting, and operational support teams.
- Develop and maintainproject plans, risk registers, delivery dashboards, and stakeholder status reports.
- Ensure strict adherence tocybersecurity, interoperability standards, regulatory guidelines, and utility compliance requirements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact forcustomer communication, issue resolution, delivery governance, and escalation management.
- Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives, delivery process optimization, and best practices in DERMS project execution.
- Supportresource allocation, skill development, and mentoring within the DERMS delivery organization.
- Oversee change management,patch/release coordination, and production readiness activities for DERMS environments.
- Ensure successfulhandover to operations/support teams post deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering, Computer Science, Energy Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project/service delivery within the power systems, renewable energy, or distribution grid domain.
- Strong understanding ofDERMS, ADMS, SCADA, and distributed energy resource integration.
- Experience managingmission‐critical grid solutions, real‐time operations, or distributed energy programs.
- Proficiency withproject management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellentleadership, communication, stakeholder management, and customer‐facing skills.
- Strong experience withbudgeting, risk management, delivery governance, and multi‐team coordination.
- Minimum10+ years of total professional experience in utility, energy, or grid‐technology domains.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience withClient Vernova GridOS DERMS or other commercial DERMS platforms.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalentproject management certification.
- Knowledge of DER‐related standards such asIEEE 2030.5, OpenADR, IEC 61850, interoperability frameworks, and communication protocols.
- Familiarity withcloud-native architectures, virtualization, and control center environments.
- Background inDER forecasting, DER aggregation, grid optimization, or integration of renewable generation.
