Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) is seeking a Manager, Business and PX Platforms to lead the delivery, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications and People Experience (PX) platforms supporting Finance, Human Resources, learning and development, talent management, payroll-related processes, and internal operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, data integrity, and effective use of assigned enterprise platforms. The Manager will partner closely with Finance, People Experience, IT, and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, secure, and well-governed technology solutions.
The Manager will lead a team of platform specialists and oversee system enhancements, integrations, reporting, vendor relationships, and modernization initiatives. This role will also focus on strengthening platform governance, improving service delivery, driving user adoption, and ensuring strong cross-functional alignment.
Salary Range: $110,000–$130,000
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned business and PX platforms, including configuration, data, integrations, reporting, access, upgrades, and support.
- Establish and maintain standards for security, role-based access, data integrity, system controls, testing, documentation, change management, and release processes.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex platform, integration, reporting, and data issues, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action.
- Lead intake, prioritization, planning, testing, deployment, and adoption of enhancements, patches, upgrades, and new capabilities.
- Partner with Finance, People Experience, IT, developers, database administrators, business analysts, and users to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Drive process improvement through automation, workflow optimization, system configuration, reporting improvements, and modernization.
- Own data quality, reporting governance, operational reports, executive dashboards, analytics, and cross-platform reporting solutions.
- Manage, coach, mentor, and develop direct reports while supporting hiring, onboarding, cross-training, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Manage software vendor and implementation partner relationships, including delivery accountability, licensing, renewals, support issues, and performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, contract management, cost optimization, and platform roadmap planning for assigned systems.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for software vendors and implementation partners and Evaluates new technologies aligned with ASI’s strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 5+ years supporting or leading enterprise PX or Business applications.
- 3+ years in a people management or leadership role.
- Progressive experience supporting or leading enterprise business applications, HRIS, ERP, finance, learning, or related platforms.
- Demonstrated experience leading people, projects, platform delivery, or cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience with systems analysis, solution design, testing, reporting, integrations, change management, production support, and data governance.
- Working knowledge of HRIS, ERP, finance, learning, and related enterprise application concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, data-validation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Platforms and Tools:
- Experience with UKG/UltiPro or comparable HRIS platforms.
- Experience with learning management platforms such as Saba/Galaxy or comparable systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, SAP Concur, SQL, Microsoft Excel, business intelligence platforms, report-writing tools, or similar technologies.
- Project management experience and familiarity with system controls, table structures, data relationships, and reporting methods.
