You will know the local area well and take pride in your ability to run a great pub. Prior experience of working with food will also be preferred.

Trading Area & Facilities

The Green Tree will be refurbished and you can see all details in the Downloads section. The pub will feel modern with refreshed flooring and furniture. The interior is divided into various rooms with plenty of space to dedicate to either drinking, casual dining or occassions and celebration. Large screens will be fitted so live sports can form part of the appeal.

Outside, the building is a charming red bricked terrace that has a sizeable beer garden - the perfect place to hold family fun days or charity BBQs.
Applicants should be aware that all refurbishments are subject to final board approval which will be determined as part of the leasing process. Where a significant investment is made in a pub by Star Pubs & Bars, an "Investment Exemption" will be required. The exemption means that the option of a Market Rent Option lease won't be available at rent review for a period of up to seven years for this site, as per The Pub Code (2016).
