Graphic Designer - 6 Week Contract

We’re a team of tech-loving, meme-slinging, Nerf dart-dodging nerds on a mission to reinvent global connectivity. Now, we’re on the hunt for a Graphic Designer who can match our energy, juice up our brand, and turn ideas into jaw-dropping, scroll-stopping designs.

This isn't another "make the logo bigger" gig. Megaport is a company where creativity runs free, concepts get weird (in the best way), and where your work helps shape a global brand. We need someone who can hit the ground running, deliver polished work quickly, and match our energy from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver bold, original designs for our current marketing campaign and key initiative

• Produce designs across digital and physical touchpoints—email, web, social media, swag, and presentation materials

• Work at pace to execute clean, on-brand designs quickly without compromising quality

• Collaborate closely with our marketing and commercial teams to ensure all visual work aligns with brand guidelines

• Create illustrations, icons, and graphics that elevate our storytelling

• Contribute fresh creative ideas and help us maintain design excellence

What We're Looking For

• A portfolio of bold, clever, beautiful work—bonus points for apparel, branding, or unique tech-focused design.

• 4+ years of experience in graphic design, with experience across both digital and print

• Solid grasp of design fundamentals: typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy

• Proven ability to execute high-quality designs quickly and efficiently

• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

• Comfortable working in Google Slides and Docs

• Excellent communication skills

• Self-disciplined and organised; able to manage your own workflow independently

• A sense of humour and genuine enthusiasm for creative work
