Job Overview:Â Â
Grants Specialist I will provide Investigator grant services to our customers including Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) processing including tracking, processing grant payments, quality control checks and maintaining all grant financial records as an integral member of the project team. Works closely with the global Grants Administration team and effectively communicate cross-functionally between Contracts, Finance, and Clinical, as needed, through all phases of the study.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set-up individual site budgets in the appropriate payment tracking system
- Interpret Clinical Trial Agreement (contract) language as it applies to Grant payments
- Perform final quality control check and approval of individual site budgets and invoices in the appropriate payment tracking system
- Provide support for Grants Coordinators and project teams
- Collaborate with the Grants Coordinators to ensure project priorities and timelines are established and understood
- Review, verify and process Investigator payments as required by contractÂ
- Invoice coding and filing to ensure financial transparency for all payments
- Coordinate grant payment activities with the appropriate Project Management staff and Finance to assure timely Investigator payments
- Manage Grants department communication and inquiries received via e-mail
- Respond to project team, Sponsor, and site questions regarding grant payments
- Participate in the ongoing set-up and transition of the grants payment system to assure that it meets business needs
- Provide excellent customer service and timely site issue resolution
- Provide site payment documentation for sponsor audits, as requested
- Assist team with troubleshooting payment issues, in a timely fashion
- Partipicate in new project Kick-off Meetings
- Other duties to support the department, as assigned by manager

Job Requirements:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
- Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Clinical Research and/or Finance related activities.Â
