Description:
This role is set in Charlotte, NC and offers a contract opportunity.
The position involves monitoring legislation and regulations, representing the company in trade associations, and supporting public disclosure initiatives.
Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and monitor relevant legislation and regulation, communicating developments and potential impacts.
Coordinate with business partners to establish policy positions and build internal coalitions.
Represent the organization in relevant trade association committees and working groups.
Assist in collecting data to support public disclosure initiatives related to sustainability.
Track and document all engagements with legislators and regulators.
Qualifications
3 years of experience in supporting government relations or a related field.
Knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes; experience in financial services is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Ability to interact effectively with internal clients.
Understanding of relevant trade associations and collaboration processes.
