Role: Google Cloud Platform Admin

Location: Remote within USA

About the Role:
Join our team as a Google Cloud Platform Admin to design, manage, and optimize GCP infrastructure. You'll ensure secure, scalable cloud operations supporting development and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision and manage GCP resources: Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
  • Implement security best practices, IAM policies, VPC networking, and monitoring with Cloud Operations.
  • Automate deployments using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
  • Optimize costs, performance, and compliance through dashboards and alerts.
  • Support migrations to GCP and troubleshoot incidents.
  • Collaborate with devs and ops teams for CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience administering GCP environments.
  • Google Cloud certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect preferred).
  • Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Python/Bash), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
