Global Mobility Specialist

Location: Remote
Duration: 11+ Months

Role:
Manageend-to-end domestic and international mobility cases, including immigration, relocation, assignments, compensation, payroll, tax, and compliance. Partner with employees, HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external mobility providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managetransfers, relocations, short/long-term assignments, permanent moves, and repatriations from initiation to closure.
• Coordinateimmigration/work authorization, visa renewals, permanent residence, documentation, and compliance.
• Coordinaterelocation, tax, payroll, compensation, allowances, benefits, and assignment payments.
• Serve as primary contact for mobile employees; provide guidance on policies, timelines, and requirements.
• Manage external vendors/providers, includingservice issues, invoices, and performance.
• Maintain confidentialcase records, employee data, documents, costs, approvals, and audit-ready records.
• Trackcase status, deadlines, immigration expirations, spend, risks, and reporting.
• Supportpolicy/process improvements, system enhancements, and mobility program initiatives.

Must-Have:

• 3–6 years Global Mobility, Immigration, Relocation, Expatriate Tax, International HR, or related experience.
• Experience managingdomestic/international mobility cases end-to-end.
• Working knowledge ofimmigration, relocation, assignment administration, payroll, tax, and compliance.
• Strongcase management, organization, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Experience managing multiple cases/deadlines in a confidential environment.
• Proficiency withMicrosoft Office and HRIS/case-management/mobility platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

• In-house Global Mobility, relocation company, immigration provider, tax firm, or multinational experience.
• U.S. and global immigration exposure, includingChina, Taiwan, Poland, Mexico, or Canada.
• Experience withmobility cost estimates, payroll instructions, tax providers, vendor invoices, and reporting.
• Mobility/HR certifications such asCRP, PHR, or SHRM-CP.
