GL Senior Accountant

The GL Senior Accountant will support the GL team in managing month-end closings, reconciliations, and financial analysis, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in daily operations of the GL team, ensuring timely and accurate posting of transactions.
• Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial entries are recorded, reconciled, and closed in accordance with the timeline.
• Review and verify journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Monitor the integrity of financial data and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Provide support to finance and operations teams regarding GL inquiries and issues.
• Support in the implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the GL functions.
• Assist in the development of accounting policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting and financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP), along with MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in creating financial statements under IFRS.
• Strong operational and implementation knowledge on IFRS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
