Job Title: GitHub Admin
Location: Pune
Experience Level: 4+ years
Working hours: 2pm to 11pm & 3pm to 12am
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage GitHub Enterprise organizations, repositories, teams, and user access.
  • Administer repository lifecycle activities, governance, and security controls.
  • Lead/support migration fromGitHub Classic to GitHub Enterprise Managed Users (EMU).
  • Configure and manage SSO, SCIM, and Entra ID/Azure AD integrations.
  • Implement repository security policies, branch protection, and GitHub Advanced Security features.
  • Support GitHub Actions, CI/CD integrations, and platform operations.
  • Troubleshoot GitHub-related issues and provide L2/L3 support.
  • Develop automation using GitHub APIs, PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Maintain platform documentation, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience inGitHub Administration or SCM platform administration.
  • Hands-on experience withGitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) and repository management.
  • Proven experience inGitHub Classic to GitHub EMU migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of GitHub Organizations, Teams, Permissions, and Access Management.
  • Experience withSSO, SCIM, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Identity & Access Management.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows, branching strategies, and pull request processes.
  • Experience withGitHub Actions, CI/CD integrations, and GitHub Advanced Security.
  • Proficiency in scripting usingPowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, other CI/CD platforms.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, etc.).
  • Experience in migration planning, execution, and post-migration validation.
  • Exposure to enterprise security and compliance requirements.
  • GitHub Enterprise Administration certification or relevant DevOps certifications are a plus.
