Job Title: General Utility (US)
Location: Dallas, TX 75220
Pay rate: $19.00/hour - $21.00/hour
Work Schedule: 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Normal shift is Monday – Friday; candidate must be flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed)

Overview

ADM is seeking two General Utility workers for entry-level plant positions in Dallas, TX (contract duration: 10/15/2026 to 10/14/2027). This role is responsible for maintaining area housekeeping, cleaning equipment, and filling various operator positions across different areas of the plant after a initial training period. The position requires strong communication and writing skills, a commitment to ADM's zero-injury safety culture, and the physical capability to perform manual labor in various environmental conditions.

Educational & General Qualifications:
- Entry-level position; no specific degree required.
- Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero-injury culture and strict adherence to safety procedures.
- Regular and prompt attendance with a professional, positive, and respectful attitude.
- Initiative to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Successful completion of a background check required.
Top Required Skills & Responsibilities:
- Communication & Documentation: Good verbal communication and writing skills.
- Housekeeping & Equipment Care: Perform area housekeeping and cleaning of plant equipment and buildings.
- Operations Support: Assist operations, maintenance, and supervisory personnel with product handling and plant duties.
- Mobile Equipment & Logistics Operations: Operate forklifts, skid-steers, and front-end loaders, with potential assignments in rail operations and barge movement.
- Operator Cross-Training: Willingness and capability to train and fill in across different operator roles throughout the plant.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to sit, stand for prolonged periods, kneel, crawl, bend, shovel material, operate a vacuum, and climb stairs and ladders.
- Comfortable working in a variety of conditions including heat, cold, dust, and outdoor weather elements.
